About the Role
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to define the product's visual identity and user experience from the ground up. You'll collaborate closely with product, engineering, and leadership teams to create an elegant, intuitive, and cinematic review experience—similar in feel to consumer platforms like Netflix, but tailored to professional content workflows. Your work will directly inform the development of key UI components that the engineering team (4 Front-end Developers and 1 Back-end Developer) will build upon.
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive, scalable interfaces for a high-quality video review platform.
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed UI specs for developers.
- Translate complex technical requirements (streaming, DRM, watermarking) into simple and engaging user experiences.
- Collaborate with engineers and product leads to ensure design feasibility and consistency across web and device platforms (Apple TV, iOS, Android).
- Maintain a strong focus on visual polish, accessibility, and responsiveness.
- Participate in design reviews and iterate based on feedback from product stakeholders and executive users.
- 4+ years of experience in UI/UX design for web or media-related products.
- Proven ability to design for streaming, collaboration, or creative workflow tools.
- Experience with responsive design and cross-platform interfaces.
- Familiarity with design systems and component-based development workflows (React, etc.).
- Strong skills in Figma (or similar), prototyping tools, and interaction design.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working asynchronously with distributed teams.
- Bonus: Experience in the media/entertainment or SaaS industry, or designing for devices like Apple TV or iPad.
