Tasks and responsibilities:

About the Role

We are looking for a Product Owner / Functional Analyst to take responsibility for a number of our digital solutions and applications, developed both internally and with external partners. In this role, you will act as the bridge between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring that both business needs and technical improvements are translated into clear, valuable, and sustainable solutions.

As Product Owner, you will own the backlog, not just for new features and process changes, but also for technical evolutions such as upgrades, refactoring, and performance improvements. You won’t implement the technical work yourself, but you will make sure these changes are prioritized alongside business requests to keep the applications healthy and future-proof.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the product backlog for assigned solutions, balancing business and technical priorities.
  • Gather, refine, and document requirements in collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • Translate requests into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and testable scenarios.
  • Safeguard the logical structure and functional coherence of the solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal developers, architects, and external vendors to deliver enhancements.
  • Prioritize technical improvements (e.g., upgrades, refactoring, security updates) together with technical specialists.
  • Validate deliverables and coordinate user acceptance testing where needed.
  • Act as the go-to contact for questions about functionality, process fit, and roadmap.


Profile:

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar bridging role.
  • Ability to manage both business-driven and technical change requests.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with agile ways of working (Scrum, Kanban, or similar).
  • Pragmatic mindset: able to balance business demands, technical feasibility, and long-term solution health.
  • Bonus: experience working with both internal developers and external vendors.
