CrazyGames is one of the leading web games platforms, reaching 50 million users every month across the world. In just a few years, we’ve grown from a hobby project to a product-focused team of 50 experts, redefining how millions of players discover and play games. Now, we’re bringing that experience to the native mobile world. We're looking for an ambitious product-minded engineer to help build our apps into the core of the CrazyGames experience.

As a Product Engineer on our Mobile Apps team, you’ll work across the stack: from native iOS/Android to React, Node backends and Terraform infrastructure. We don’t expect you to be an expert in all of them, but we do expect you to be eager to dive deep into any of them. This position lets you help shape what we build, not just how, and have a real product impact, at scale.

Key outcomes for the role:

  • Within 1 month you are familiar with the codebase, fix bugs, and contribute to larger changes for our 40M users.
  • Within 3 months, you implement user-facing features end-to-end and conduct experiments to improve core metrics.
  • Within 6 months, you take ownership of adding features to our app, such as implementing the possibility to play games while offline while ensuring that progress within games is transferred between devices when the device gets internet access.
  • Within 12 months, you fully understand the high-level architecture of the codebase so that you can work together with your Team Lead to specify and coordinate large new user-facing features that encompass multiple code projects.

What we offer:

  • Top-notch engineers as colleagues. We like to hire experts.
  • A modern tech stack: Node.js, React, TypeScript, GraphQL. Terraform infrastructure on AWS.
  • A lot of responsibility and freedom. We hire only experts and trust them to deliver excellent results.
  • Flexible working hours and location. The results are what count!
  • Team weeks: we organize a week somewhere in Europe once or twice per year. We pay for transport and accommodation so you can have fun with the team.
  • The opportunity to play games and claim it's work.

This role can be performed fully remotely if your timezone is between GMT-2 and GMT+6, or hybrid if you live close to Leuven, Belgium.

Reach out if:

  • A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science/Engineering/… or at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • You have good software engineering skills and knowledge of technical concepts in the context of the web.
  • You are happy to bounce around different technologies on a daily basis.
  • You can think in terms of users, can judge and prioritize features, and can convert them into technical requirements.
  • You have an eye for detail and for the big picture.
  • You combine knowledge of software development with a business sense, an interest in UX, management skills, and strong analytical skills.
