Overview

We are currently seeking a Technical Designer to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role include performing detailed design work and providing assistance to the main designer of the project.

The goal is to match client’s needs and to develop a SUSTAINABLE, FUNCTIONAL and AESTHETIC designs.

A flexible responsive approach is vital, together with initiative in identifying and focusing on what needs to be done in order to contribute to the achievement of business objectives and innovation in design.

What This Job Involves

As a Technical Designer, your role will encompass the following responsibilities:

  • Developing 3D views, 3D Revit models, plans, schedules, and details.
  • Demonstrating a high level of proficiency in working with Autodesk Revit and ACC construction management software.
  • Conducting advisory missions to ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Keeping our internal product database updated and maintaining communication with our suppliers.
  • Working closely with the main Designer, Project Manager, and other stakeholders when needed.
  • Possessing a comprehensive understanding of the design process and coordinating technical design information across all Tetris Design Studios.
  • Demonstrating strong knowledge of technical detailing and specialist finishes, including architectural and furniture/joinery.

  • Proficiency in design and 3D visualization software, such as REVIT and Sketchup, is essential for this role.
  • Being skilled in these software programs is crucial for our designers.
  • A degree in technical design, interior architecture, or design would be advantageous.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken French and English is required for effective communication in our multicultural work environment, Dutch is an advantage.
  • Organised and polyvalent.
  • You should demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, as the role requires multitasking and versatility.
  • Efficiency is highly valued, and as a skilled technician, you should be able to produce precise and creative designs in a timely manner.
  • Collaboration is key, and we expect you to work well as part of a supportive and talented team.
  • However, you should also possess the ability to work autonomously and make independent decisions when required.
