As a Frontend Developer, you will contribute to a large-scale European digital transformation initiative, building next-generation solutions that connect airports, airlines, and air traffic systems across the continent. You will design and implement scalable, high-performance front-end applications, ensuring seamless user experiences and modular, maintainable code. Working in a collaborative, Agile environment, you will take ownership of your features from conception to deployment, mentor junior developers, and help shape the architecture of cutting-edge web platforms. Accountabilities:
- Design and develop scalable front-end applications using TypeScript, React, and React Query
- Create reusable UI components with React Hook Form and Ant Design
- Contribute to microfrontend architecture for modular, maintainable applications
- Optimize application performance and scalability through profiling, lazy loading, and code-splitting
- Integrate front-end solutions with back-end services, using modern build tools like Vite
- Maintain component libraries with Storybook and ensure high code quality via unit and integration testing
- Collaborate with designers, product owners, and backend developers to deliver seamless user experiences
- Support and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement
- Proven experience with TypeScript, React, and React Query
- Strong skills in React Hook Form and Ant Design for UI component development
- Experience designing and implementing microfrontend architectures
- Proficiency with Vite and familiarity with Webpack is a plus
- Knowledge of Storybook, ESLint, and testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
- Strong understanding of front-end performance optimization and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with Git (preferably Bitbucket) and collaborative version control workflows
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and independent working skills
- Bonus: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud integration
- Fully remote role within the European Union, with occasional travel to Brussels
