We are looking for an Intermediate Software Engineer with expertise in JavaScript for a major client based in Luxembourg.
Main tasks:
- Conduct thorough review and analysis of functional and technical requirements
- Design software solutions and provide accurate effort estimations
- Implement programming changes using Python, Java, JavaScript, XML, WSDL, and SQL
- Perform unit testing to validate functionality and ensure code quality
- Investigate and resolve software bugs and defects across environments
- Provide second-level support for production issues and escalated technical inquiries
- Follow up on reported problems and ensure timely resolution
- Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues and improve system stability
- Automate CI/CD processes and manage infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
Requirements:
Education:
- Master’s (preferably) degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Professional experience:
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in SQL and JavaScript (React, Angular, etc.)
- 2+ years of experience in Outsystem
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in React, React Native, and JavaScript.
- 3+ years of experience with Anaconda and Python
- Proven experience in JBOSS, Java, JSF, Spring Boot
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with AWS and Azure
- Experience in relational databases and DBMS systems (Oracle DB, Sybase DB, PostgreSQL DB, MySQL)
- Proven experience in building APIs and working with Kafka for internal and external products
- Skilled in DevOps and CI/CD practices using Jenkins, Maven, AzureDevOps, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Linux, Helm
- Continuous build and integration using Sonar and Liquibase
- Experience with Github or another source code repository
- Experience with Shell scripting (Unix/Bash).
- Strong knowledge of Java 11, Spring Framework, REST/SOAP web services, JMS and React
- Experience with Application Servers (JBoss, Tomcat, NodeJS, Spring, etc.)
Languages:
- Proficiency in English (B2-level or higher)

- Luxembourg (on-site)
