Senior SDN & Micro-Segmentation Expert / Service Delivery Manager (VMware NSX)
The European Commission’s DG DIGIT.C.3 – Data Centers & Private Cloud unit operates and improves the private cloud infrastructure supporting EU institutions.
They’re looking for a Senior SDN & Micro-Segmentation Expert / Service Delivery Manager (VMware NSX) to strengthen the Broadcom VMware NSX environment managed together with the COSMOS service team.
The mission is both technical and strategic, ensuring performance, reliability, and security across a large-scale, critical IT ecosystem.
Your role
- Design, implement, and optimize SDN and firewalling solutions (VMware NSX).
- Supervise and support COSMOS-managed services, ensuring compliance with DIGIT standards.
- Define and maintain the strategy and roadmap for SDN and micro-segmentation.
- Troubleshoot, document, and continuously improve service performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external providers in an international, multilingual environment.
Your profile
- Master’s degree (EQF Level 7) or equivalent.
- 5+ years designing and managing large-scale SDN / micro-segmentation environments.
- 3+ years in cloud networking (AWS, Azure or GCP).
- Fluent in English and French (B2+)
- Service-oriented, proactive, and experienced in multicultural settings.
Certifications
- VMware VCP-NV
- AWS Advanced Networking Specialty (or equivalent Azure/GCP cert).
- PM² Agile or equivalent is a plus.
Work location
- Luxembourg – Hybrid from EU Member States (telework within 2h travel distance)
