Technical Manager | Yacht Building and System Engineering

Are you ready to take technical ownership of prestigious yacht projects? As a Technical Manager, you will lead a team of lead engineers and ensure the perfect balance between technical vision, quality, and efficiency. You oversee all technical disciplines — from lighting and automation to power systems — and guarantee seamless system integration throughout each project.
Your responsibilities
As Technical Manager, you play a key role in the technical execution of yacht projects. You combine management skills with strong engineering insight and ensure that all disciplines work in harmony toward successful delivery.
Your tasks include:
- Leading lead engineers and coordinating all technical activities within projects
- Assuming overall technical responsibility for all systems, including those delivered by other business units
- Developing and maintaining a clear technical vision for the design, engineering, and operation of all systems
- Aligning with the Project Manager on progress, planning, and priorities
- Acting as the main point of contact for technical questions from internal teams, clients, and suppliers
- Safeguarding quality, safety, and efficiency across all technical disciplines
- Overseeing the transition from engineering to production, including validation and approval

Your profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a technical or managerial position within yacht building, shipbuilding, or system integration
- Strong technical insight with the ability to oversee multiple disciplines
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing project-based work
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Analytical, result-driven, and capable of making sound technical decisions
- Strong command of English (Dutch is an advantage)

- Salary up to €6,200 gross per month, depending on experience
