Do you want to be part of a company that’s transforming healthcare?
Lyfegen helps bridge the gap to faster, smarter access with pricing, access, and rebate management solutions. Our platform is used by health insurers, governments, hospital payers, and pharmaceutical companies worldwide to simplify the complexities of drug pricing agreements, optimize rebates, and drive better value.
As a global leader in drug access and rebate management, Lyfegen is expanding its reach and impact. As we continue to scale, we’re looking for passionate professionals to join us and help shape the future of healthcare.
We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to play a key role in shaping our solutions. In this role, you will work closely with our development team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions that involve complex calculation logic — all to align business goals with technical capabilities.
At Lyfegen, we’re tackling challenges no one has solved before. That’s why we are looking for problem solvers with a proactive mindset—people who thrive on turning complexity into opportunity.
Join us and help bridge the gap to faster and smarter access to medicines for patients.
Your main responsibilities:
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing of web applications across multiple environments and browsers.
- Validate complex calculation logic to ensure accuracy, reliability, and consistency of system outputs.
- Conduct API testing (REST, GraphQL) to verify backend functionality, data integrity, and system communication.
- Execute performance and load testing to identify bottlenecks, scalability issues, and optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product teams within Agile/Scrum sprints to uphold quality throughout the SDLC.
- Design, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases, test plans, and test data for both manual and automated scenarios.
- Identify, document, and track defects to closure using structured QA workflows and tools.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts and frameworks using Playwright or similar tools.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (ArgoCD, Azure DevOps) to ensure continuous validation and faster delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement by refining testing processes, increasing automation coverage, and adopting new QA best practices.
- Actively participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, standups, retrospectives) and contribute to discussions on testability and quality.
- Provide clear, data-driven feedback on software quality, risks, and release readiness to stakeholders.
Who you are:
- Experience: 2–4 years in software quality assurance, ideally testing data-heavy or calculation-intensive web applications.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency testing .NET and TypeScript applications; strong grasp of frontend, backend, and database (MS SQL) architecture.
- Testing Expertise: Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and best practices, with hands-on experience in manual and automated testing.
- Automation Skills: Experience developing automated tests using Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
- API & Performance Testing: Familiar with REST/GraphQL API testing and performance/load tools such as JMeter, k6, or Gatling.
- Tools & Environments: Skilled in Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Jira); working knowledge of Git version control.
- Deployment & Containerization: Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, deployment tools (ArgoCD or similar), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Agile Delivery: Proven experience in Agile/Scrum environments, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to validate complex calculations and queries.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, self-motivation, and ability to work both independently and as a proactive team player in a remote setup; ISTQB certification is a plus.
What we offer:
- Join a company that improves access to healthcare for patients.
- Direct influence on the growth and success of Lyfegen.
- The possibility to work flexibly.
- Become part of a team of international high performers.
- Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
