We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Infrastructure team and help define the next generation of our global cloud platform. You will design, build and automate systems that power our data products and services with a focus on scalability, performance and security.

We're looking for someone who thrives in automation, coding and infrastructure-as-code. You will be a key contributor to how we scale globally across AWS and Alibaba Cloud, working alongside product and data teams to deliver cloud-native solutions that drive real business value.This role is ideal for an engineer who wants to move fast, automate everything and set new standards for how infrastructure is built and operated.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure as Code: Build, manage and scale infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible,
  
  

establishing best practices.

• Cloud Engineering: Configure and optimize cloud environments in AWS and Alibaba Cloud, focusing
  
  

on scalability, cost efficiency and security, recommending and implementing improvements

proactively.

• CI/CD & Automation: Design and maintain automated deployment pipelines (Jenkins, GitOps,
  
  

containers) for reliable and repeatable delivery.

• Monitoring & Optimization: Implement observability, monitoring, and cost-optimization frameworks to
  
  

ensure high system performance and compliance.

• Collaboration: Partner with product engineering and data teams to deliver solutions that enable fast
  
  

experimentation and reliable production services.

• Operations: Provide BAU operational support for critical data infrastructure and pipelines, driving
  
  

root cause resolution and automating manual processes.

• Innovation: Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies that improve infrastructure
  
  

resilience, speed and developer experience.

Requirements:

• Expert level experience with Terraform and Ansible
• Expert level experience with Linux administration, scripting and troubleshooting
• Strong database configuration knowledge (MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis, Snowflake) and
  
  

web stack familiarity (nginx, haproxy, php, node).

• Solid experience with CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Docker-based pipelines)
• Strong understanding of multi-region AWS services (VPC, EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, Route53, IAM,
  
  

API Gateway).

• Knowledge of network security, compliance frameworks and vulnerability management tools (e.g.,
  
  

AWS Inspector, Patch Manager).

• Familiarity with Alibaba Cloud and multi-cloud operations
• Background supporting data infrastructure (databases, ETL pipelines, messaging systems)
• A mindset focused on automation-first, repeatability and reliability
• Focus on delivering a quality experience to customers
• 3+ years working in cloud-native environments at scale

• Experience with ETL workflows, Snowflake or modern data pipeline tools
• Exposure to machine learning or data science pipelines for model training and deployment
