Security Manager

We are looking for a Security Manager to join the Security Management of our university who meets the following criteria:

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in the security field, including at least 5 years in team management
• Proven experience in security management within large-scale organizations
• Holds valid Security Manager certifications
• Proficient in English
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Strong reporting, monitoring and official correspondence skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities; result-oriented and proactive work approach
• Keeps up to date with technological developments and relevant legislation in the field
• Able to adapt to flexible working hours

Job Description

• Plan, manage, and supervise security operations across all university locations
• Conduct risk assessments through various scenarios and implement preventive measures accordingly
• Manage duty assignments, shift scheduling, and training processes of security personnel
• Prepare and present regular operational reports to senior management
• Coordinate relations with relevant public authorities, law enforcement, and external stakeholders
• Ensure the accuracy and currency of all security policies, procedures, and instructions
• Oversee the management of CCTV, vehicle access control (HGS, license plate recognition) systems
• Supervise the effective implementation of gatehouse and entry-exit control procedures
• Responsible for the coordination of on-campus guest and vehicle traffic flow.
