SLB Capturi is one of the leading companies globally that has extensive knowledge of the entire CCUS value chain. We have many ongoing projects, from research and innovation, including pilot plant testing, to concept studies and to large EPC projects, both in Europe and in the United States. Today, we are delivering seven carbon capture units in Europe, with an accumulated capture capacity of 1 million tonnes of CO2. In Denmark, we are delivering five Just Catch 100 units to Ørsted, in the Netherlands one Just Catch 100 unit to Twence, and in Norway a Big Catch to Heidelberg Materials.

The Products Department is responsible for leading all development activities related to our carbon capture product portfolio, turning innovative ideas into market-ready solutions and continuously enhancing existing products to improve competitiveness and extend market reach. Our products are developed for use in both early-phase studies (pre-FEED/FEED) and full-scale EPC/OEM realization projects.

To support our continued growth, we are looking to strengthen the Product Development team with an Instruments & Control System Engineer interested in Product Development.

In this role, you will contribute to driving product development efforts in general and especially within the field of Instruments & Control System.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in developing new carbon capture technologies and products within the field of Instruments & Control System
  • Participate in developing technical requirements for the whole E&I field for Products including instruments, control system topology and design, MCC/instrument cabinets and all included equipment and units
  • Participate in translating technology requirements and industry best practices into robust, cost-effective solutions for productized systems and full-scale plants
  • Participate in coordination and review of E&I deliverables across active Product Development projects, ensuring quality, alignment, and timely execution

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation, Control & Automation or similar
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience, preferably within technology and/or product development
  • Knowledge of ISO, EN, ATEX, IEC, and other international codes and standards about instrumentation, control, and automation systems
  • Knowledge of instrumentation cabling, cable tray layouts, and other related activities
  • Knowledge of functional safety, IEC61511, worked with safety systems, SIL loops, Fire detection, Gas detection, and alarming systems is an advantage
  • Knowledge of FTIR, Gas Chromatograph, mass & ultrasonic flowmeters, and gas and smoke detectors is an advantage
