Levsha localization studio (www.levsha.eu) is looking for LQA tester for English-Farsi language pair.
Worldwide hiring. Part-time work.
Responsibilities:
- Checking the quality of the text translation for errors, inconsistencies, inaccuracies and any terminology mistakes
- Analysis of the quality of the translation in terms of style, grammar, punctuation and spelling, etc
Requirements:
- Intermediate/fluent in English language for localization
- Native-level Farsi skills required
- Inquisitiveness and overall attention to detail
- Appreciation for cultural nuances
- Extensive PC/console/mobile gaming experience
- Any kind of localization/translation experience (including amateur, student or fan projects)
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of localization CAT tools and bug trackers
- Translation/editing/loc testing experience on shipped projects
- Ability to mitigate and work around common localization issues
- Knowledge of best industry practices
