Business Analyst

We’re seeking an experienced Core Banking Business Analyst with deep expertise in Temenos Transact and end-to-end financial services operations.

This role bridges business and technology, driving digital transformation initiatives across complex banking environments. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capability with a hands-on understanding of core banking systems, regulatory frameworks, and integration workflows.

Core Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and technology teams to define and document business and functional requirements for core banking initiatives.
• Analyze existing systems, identify gaps, and propose scalable solutions aligned with industry standards and regulatory compliance.
• Support transformation and migration projects, including data mapping, system integration, and cutover planning.
• Prepare Functional and Business Requirements Documents (FSDs, BRDs) following Temenos and internal documentation standards.
• Work closely with developers, testers, and operations teams to ensure accurate implementation and seamless go-live execution.
• Contribute to agile and waterfall delivery cycles through requirement workshops, backlog refinement, and testing coordination.
• Serve as the link between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clarity and consistency across project phases.

Qualifications

• Strong domain knowledge in core banking operations, including payments, lending, deposits, and wealth management.
• Proven experience with Temenos Transact (T24) modules and Temenos Implementation Methodology (TIM).
• Experience preparing Temenos-specific BRDs/FSDs and conducting impact assessments or gap analyses.
• Familiarity with integration layers, APIs, and data models within banking platforms.
• Understanding of financial regulations such as AML/KYC, PSD2, and Basel III.
• Exposure to major core banking systems (Temenos preferred; Avaloq, Finacle, or Flexcube a plus).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English; Temenos certification or willingness to obtain it is advantageous.
