Senior Backend Engineer – DeFi Trading Technology

Join a pioneering DeFi Trading Technology firm building the next generation of decentralized trading infrastructure. We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to design, develop, and scale backend systems and APIs powering high-performance DeFi products used globally.

What You’ll Do

• Architect and build robust, low-latency backend systems for real-time transaction processing and order matching.
• Design and maintain secure, scalable APIs that connect users seamlessly to blockchain protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams - product, frontend, and blockchain engineers - to deliver an exceptional trading experience.
• Contribute to open-source projects that advance the DeFi ecosystem.
• Mentor junior engineers and champion engineering excellence, security, and best practices.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years’ experience in backend or software engineering.
• Previous exposure to financial or blockchain products - DeFi experience strongly preferred.
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and modern backend technologies (Docker, microservices, cloud environments).
• Solid computer science fundamentals and experience building scalable, fault-tolerant systems.
• Experience with Smart Contracts is a plus.
• A genuine passion for DeFi, crypto, and open-source technology.
