What You'll Do

As a Software Engineer at Theom, you'll design, develop, and implement highly scalable software features on our next-generation data security platform. You'll work in a fast-learning environment with direct mentorship from industry experts, tackling complex data engineering challenges at production scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and enhance our AI-driven security platform that protects enterprise data across major cloud providers.
• Develop innovative solutions for data classification, discovery, and access control
• Create robust monitoring systems that detect suspicious data access patterns and potential breaches
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate with SIEM/SOAR systems and ensure compliance with NIST, HIPAA, HITRUST, and CIS frameworks
• Contribute to a platform that serves as the critical defense layer for sensitive enterprise data

What Theom is looking for?

• Strong software development experience in languages such as Golang, Scala, Java, Python, or C#
• Strong data structures, algorithms and design patterns knowledge
• Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, Snowflake, Databricks)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of one year of professional software engineering experience

Bonus if you have experience with:

• Experience with data engineering problems at production scale
• Experience using cloud and distributed data processing techniques
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and distributed data computing (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, CFTs, Confluent/Kafka)
