OPS Consulting is seeking a qualified Cyber Defense Analyst to support a 24/7/365 mission. A successful candidate uses information collected from a variety of sources to monitor network activity and analyze it for evidence of anomalous behavior. CDA's will identify, triage, and report events that occur to protect data, information systems, and infrastructure. The CDA's will find trends, patterns, or anomaly correlations utilizing security-relevant data. The CDA will also make recommendations proactively and follow security measures and notify designated managers, cyber incident responders, and cybersecurity service provider team member of suspected cyber incidents and articulate the event's history, status, and potential impact for further action in accordance with the organization's cyber incident response plan. This position requires rotating shift work.
Required Qualifications:
All levels require the following:
- No demonstrated experience is required.
- A DoD 8570 compliance with CSSP Analyst baseline certification.
- Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I or Level II certification.
- Computing Environment (CE) certification. The CE certification requirements can be fulfilled with variations of Windows, Cisco, Linux, Microsoft, Python, Red Hat, Splunk, Kibana, Advanced Cyber Defense Course, and other OS systems.
- A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.

Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00
Pay ranges are a general guideline and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, work experience, education, certifications, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.
