We’re seeking a Data Scientist with deep experience in SQL, Python, and machine learning to support advanced analytics initiatives within the healthcare and pharmaceutical space. This role focuses on turning large, complex datasets into actionable insights that improve patient outcomes, drug development, and healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and deploy machine learning and statistical models to support initiatives such as drug efficacy analysis, patient segmentation, and predictive risk modeling.
• Leverage SQL and Python to extract, clean, and analyze large-scale healthcare data (claims, EHR, prescription, and clinical trial datasets).
• Design and maintain ETL pipelines for data ingestion and feature engineering in production environments.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, validate results, and translate findings into business and clinical recommendations.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with HIPAA and pharma data governance standards.
• Visualize findings and communicate technical insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience applying machine learning and data science techniques in healthcare or life sciences.
• Proficient in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, numpy) and SQL for data manipulation and model development.
• Experience with healthcare or pharmaceutical datasets (claims, EMR, Rx, lab, or real-world evidence data).
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and version control (Git).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Before interviewing with our client, the first step is a live technical coding assessment — a 45-minute CoderPad video interview focused on SQL and Python. During this session, you’ll complete coding challenges in real time to demonstrate your skills.
