Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Java Technical Lead with deep expertise in Spring Boot, Kafka, and Microservices architecture to design, develop, and deliver scalable enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will be passionate about clean architecture, possess strong hands-on development skills, and have experience leading development teams in a modern Agile DevOps environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Development:
- Develop and productionize modern APIs and event-driven microservices using Spring Boot, Kafka, and Hibernate.
- Implement domain-driven design (DDD) principles for building robust, maintainable, and scalable services.
- Write high-quality, efficient, and testable code in Java while adhering to coding best practices.
- Architecture & System Design:
- Participate in system design discussions and contribute to solution architecture.
- Lead efforts in productionization, ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Agile & DevOps Delivery:
- Deliver software using Scrum and agile methodologies, actively participating in sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Work in a modern DevOps setup, contributing to CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated testing processes.
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical leadership to a team of developers, guiding them through design, development, and code reviews.
- Drive innovation, ensure best practices, and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Ensure quality through unit and integration testing.
- (Optional) Contribute to automated UI testing using Selenium / WebDriver where applicable.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in software development with strong hands-on expertise in Java.
- 2+ years of experience in developing API and event-driven microservices using Spring Boot, Kafka, and Hibernate.
- 2+ years of experience implementing domain-driven design (DDD) principles.
- Experience working in a Scrum/Agile environment and applying software engineering best practices.
- Proven track record of technical leadership — mentoring team members and leading projects end-to-end.
- Strong understanding of system documentation, production support, and maintenance processes.
Good to Have:
- Experience in automated testing using Selenium or WebDriver.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
