Mobile Developer (Remote - India)

This role offers a unique opportunity to take full ownership of a cross-platform mobile wallet application, driving its technical evolution and ensuring a seamless user experience. You will work in an agile environment, collaborating closely with product, design, and backend teams to implement robust features and maintain high standards of performance, security, and reliability. The position requires hands-on expertise across JavaScript, React Native, Capacitor, and native iOS/Android layers, providing both technical challenge and autonomy. You will be responsible for the end-to-end release process, debugging complex issues, and ensuring the app meets app store compliance standards. Accountabilities:

• Assume ownership of the mobile wallet application, including maintenance, debugging, performance tuning, security hardening, and new feature development
• Develop, test, and deploy features using cross-platform frameworks such as React Native and Capacitor
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues bridging the JavaScript layer and native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) or Android (Kotlin/Java) environments
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams within an Agile/Scrum framework to translate requirements into user-friendly mobile features
• Manage the full App Store and Google Play release process, including build, signing, metadata, and compliance requirements
• Maintain code quality, readability, testing standards, and implement mobile development best practices
• Contribute to technical decisions regarding application architecture, tooling, and framework choices
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, participating actively in Scrum events
  
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building, deploying, and iterating on mobile applications available on app stores
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), with TypeScript experience being a plus
• Hands-on experience with cross-platform frameworks such as React Native and Capacitor
• Solid understanding of native layer interactions, with experience developing or debugging iOS/Android modules or plugins
• Proven experience managing end-to-end mobile app releases on both iOS and Android platforms
• Practical experience working within Agile/Scrum teams
• Proficient in integrating RESTful APIs and managing application state
• Expertise in Git and version control workflows
• Excellent problem-solving skills, autonomy, and ability to manage priorities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

• Knowledge of mobile security best practices (secure storage, certificate pinning)
• Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, MobX)
• Experience with automated testing frameworks for mobile applications (Unit, Integration, E2E)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile development (App Center, Fastlane, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
