UX/UI Designer

Portuguese company hires for remote work (Temporary work 3 to 6 months)

Work will be in the time zone of Portugal

PORTUGUESE (C1/C2) AND FLUENT ENGLISH (C1+)

Location: Remote Job Type: Part-Time (30-40 hours per week for 3-6 months). Leads to a permanent position if milestones are met.

What You’ll Do

  • Design Intuitive Interfaces: Create user-friendly, visually stunning designs for web and mobile platforms.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with product managers, engineers, and AI experts to align designs with business goals and technical requirements.
  • Wireframing and Prototyping: Develop detailed wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to demonstrate user flows and features.
  • Refine User Experience: Conduct user research and usability testing, iterating on designs based on real-world feedback.
  • Develop a Visual Identity: Define and maintain a consistent brand aesthetic across all platform touchpoints.
  • Advocate for Users: Ensure that all design decisions prioritize an intuitive and seamless user experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 7+ years as a UX/UI Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.
  • Proficiency in Design Tools: Skilled in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of UX Principles: Strong grasp of user-centered design methodologies and best practices.
  • Cross-Platform Design: Experience designing for both desktop and mobile interfaces.
  • Research Skills: Proficient in conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Technical Collaboration: Ability to work closely with developers to ensure designs are effectively implemented.
  • Communication: Strong collaboration and communication skills in a remote team environment.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with AI-driven products or SaaS platforms.
  • Familiarity with writing, publishing, or storytelling tools.
  • Passion for storytelling, literature, or creative content creation.
