Legal Tech Product Manager – London, Glasgow, or Edinburgh
Are you a lawyer who’s secretly more excited about a new piece of tech than a new piece of case law? Or maybe you’re a product manager who speaks fluent “legal” and loves the buzz of helping lawyers work smarter, faster, and better. Either way, this one might be right up your alley.
My client is looking for a Legal Tech Product Manager to join the Legal Tech team within a firm that’s genuinely walking the walk when it comes to innovation. You’ll help drive the adoption of their growing stack of Legal Tech tools, making sure they don’t just sit there looking clever, but actually make life easier for their lawyers and more seamless for their clients.
You’ll be part of a collaborative crew that includes Legal Technologists, Solution Engineers, and other Product Managers, all working together to make the most future-facing firm in the game.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll basically be the go-to guru for a few of their Legal Tech tools, understanding how they work, why they matter, and how they can be used to their full potential.
You’ll:
- Define what success looks like for your tools and make it happen
- Work closely with suppliers, from negotiating renewals to fine-tuning onboarding
- Help teams implement and adopt the tech, with training, guidance, and a dash of persuasion where needed
- Create case studies and metrics to show the real impact your tools are making
- Partner with their practice groups to tailor Legal Tech solutions to their work types and clients
- Occasionally face clients too, delivering demos, helping with RFPs, or showing off their innovation credentials
Basically, you’ll be that brilliant mix of product-minded, tech-curious, and people-savvy, someone who can talk APIs with an engineer one minute and show a partner why it’ll make their life easier the next.
What they’re looking for
They’re open-minded on background, but you’ll probably tick a few of these boxes:
- You’ve either practiced law and loved using Legal Tech tools, or you’ve managed those tools from the product side within a firm
- You’re comfortable engaging senior stakeholders (and can get buy-in without breaking a sweat)
- You’re organised, confident running meetings, and skilled at scoping projects
- You can juggle a busy workload, think strategically, and still deliver on the details
- You’ve got that “solution-first” mindset, you see problems and immediately start plotting how to fix them
- Agile experience would be a nice bonus
Why you’ll love it there
Aside from working with a genuinely forward-thinking team that values ideas and innovation, you’ll also enjoy:
- A competitive salary and annual reviews
- Hybrid, flexible working
- A generous bonus scheme
- Up to 28 days’ holiday (depending on service)
- Private medical insurance and enhanced parental leave
- And loads more, all designed to give you choice, flexibility, and balance
If this sounds like your kind of challenge, where legal meets tech in the best possible way, I’d love to hear from you.
