UI/UX Designer
Location: UK Flexible (Hybrid, On-site, Remote)
Salary: £40,134 to £41,832 per annum, pro rata (plus ILW, if residing & working in London)
Hours: 35 per week, per hour, Flexible (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm)
Contract: Fixed term contract (x12 months)
Could your expertise as a UI/UX Designer help us improve our business critical fundraising applications?
Are you a user-centric UX and UI designer who can collaborate with users, Fundraisers and fundraising operations teams well as product managers, delivery managers, business analysts and data engineers?
Could you play a vital part in helping shape the tools, processes and systems we use, and form a part of our wider product team?
What will a day in the life of a UI/UX Designer involve?
- Undertake research to understand the platforms that support their day-to-day work
- Rapidly prototype and design UI changes that help fundraisers make best use of the systems available to them
- To act as the user advocate during the research, design and development process, subjecting early-stage designs to usability testing or expert review and offering implementation suggestions from a user-centred perspective.
- To lead on the UX and IA on projects.
To be a successful UI/UX Designer, what will you need?
- Ability to translate research into actionable deliverables.
- User testing and journey mapping experience.
- Rapid prototyping using a variety of methods to inform projects.
- A recent portfolio of work.
- Sound experience of conducting user research.
- Hands on experience of the product lifecycle.
- Designing and delivering improvements, including workflows, to line-of-business applications used by employees, ideally Salesforce non-profit cloud, or Sales cloud (NPSP) applications.
