As a Lead Project Manager, you'll be central to boosting efficiency and teamwork, helping colleagues work more productively. Your efforts will ensure projects are delivered smoothly and in line with our organisation's objectives, actively contributing to the success of our products.


You'll oversee day-to-day project activities, coordinate sprints, handle dependencies, and quickly address obstacles to keep teams moving forward. By working closely with product owners, engineers, and stakeholders, you'll make sure everyone shares the same priorities and goals. Positioned between product and engineering, this role focuses on building strong communication and collaboration! Your contributions will support team effectiveness, refine delivery methods, and keep stakeholders informed and engaged making a strategic difference to the business!


Job Goals


  • Ensure project success across various teams by delivering results on time and aligning efforts with organisational objectives.
  • Lead agile ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming to cultivate teamwork and productivity.
  • Address blockers and dependencies promptly to maintain consistent progress throughout project teams.
  • Increase transparency through diligent documentation, regular reporting, and clear risk communication with stakeholders.
  • Work with product owners and engineering leads to define priorities, organise tasks, and continually enhance delivery processes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document functional and technical requirements.
  • Lead squad to translate business needs into AI solution designs, focusing on Copilot agents and automation.
  • Develop and manage test plans, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution.


Ideal Skills & Capabilities


  • Solid grasp of Agile and Scrum principles, with hands-on experience and a track record of 8 to 10 years in similar roles.
  • Proven experience managing projects involving Microsoft AI, Copilot.
  • Skilled in project management tools like Jira, Confluence, ADO, or equivalent platforms.
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve dependencies and roadblocks within cross-functional teams for smooth project execution.
  • Understanding of contemporary software development practices, including CI/CD, version control, APIs, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Capable of producing thorough project documentation to align stakeholders with goals and priorities.


Bonus points for:


  • Technical experience as a developer, QA engineer, or systems analyst.
  • Involvement with DevOps teams or infrastructure-related projects.
  • Background in SaaS, data-focused, or analytics-intensive products.
  • Knowledge of compliance-focused or security-oriented project management.
