Job Overview


BYD Argentina is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Visual Designer to join our Marketing team.

This role is responsible for creating and executing visual communication materials that align with BYD’s global brand identity while adapting them to the local market context. You will play a key role in developing engaging brand visuals that support marketing campaigns, dealer activities, and product launches acr2. oss Argentina.


Key Responsibilities


Creative & Visual Design

  • Design and produce marketing materials for both online and offline campaigns, including digital ads, social media content, brochures, banners, exhibition displays, and event visuals.
  • Adapt and apply BYD’s global brand guidelines to create locally relevant visual assets.
  • Support content creation for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) to strengthen brand awareness and engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, PR, and sales teams to ensure cohesive and impactful brand communication.
  • Assist in visual planning and design for launch events, auto shows, and dealer activities.
  • Support design of presentation materials for internal reports, events, and other needed scenarios.
  • Create visually compelling presentations and reports for internal meetings, events, and other required scenarios.


Marketing Strategy & Brand Management

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and market share.
  • Conduct design-related market research, analyze consumer behavior, and benchmark competitors to provide actionable insights.
  • Support brand positioning, product promotion, and communication strategy development.


Dealer Support & Channel Management

  • Design and deliver promotional materials and campaign visuals to support dealer marketing initiatives
  • Review and ensure all dealership marketing executions maintain consistency with BYD’s visual identity.


Internal Coordination and Others:

  • Partner with HQ and regional offices in different time zones to ensure strategic alignment and operational excellence
  • Any other task that be required by management.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Advertising, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in brand, advertising, or marketing design (automotive, tech, or FMCG industry experience preferred).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.) or core design software tools.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint / Keynote / Canva – presentation-ready layouts and animations.
  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, and color theory, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality creative output.
  • Knowledge of file formats and export settings (RGB vs. CMYK, DPI, bleed, transparency, etc.).
  • Experience creating digital and print-ready assets for different platforms and formats.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-cultural environments.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (Chinese is a plus).
  • Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Preferred at least two year experience in Automotive industry.
  • A personal design portfolio is required for consideration.


Bonus / Optional Software Skills

  • Figma / Sketch / Adobe XD: UI/UX collaboration and layout visualization.
  • Cinema 4D / Blender: Basic 3D visualization for 2D environments.
  • AI Tools: Familiarity with Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, or Runway for generative concepting.
