👥 Your role in the team

• Teamwork: You work closely with an interdisciplinary team of developers, product, and domain experts, from the initial idea to the production deployment of our scalable data solutions.
• Substantive Data: You identify relevant data sources, develop concepts for their integration into our data architecture, and actively drive their exploration forward.
• From raw data to intelligence: You develop robust data pipelines and train models.
• Algorithms with standards: You continuously optimize existing algorithms — focusing on performance, stability, and maintainability.
• Making data accessible: You make insights available to stakeholders through interactive dashboards and targeted visualizations, providing them with concrete actionable insights.
• Product development with a global perspective: You shape our data-driven products — from architecture through the model to rollout.

🌟 Our expectations of you

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge in Data Engineering (ETL/ELT, data modeling, pipeline design) and Data Cleaning with real, often incomplete data.
• Excellent Python skills, especially in working with pandas, NumPy, matplotlib, and Jupyter Notebooks.
• Knowledge of version control with Git and ideally CI/CD workflows in the ML context.
• Curiosity about intralogistics and a desire to solve real-world problems with data, not just academic ones.

Qualifications

• Experience with time series data, its peculiarities, as well as its modeling and visualization.
• Practical experience with machine learning in production environments (model deployment, monitoring, retraining).

Education

• Completed degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a comparable qualification - alternatively: relevant practical experience.
