EU Project Dissemination & Communication Manager (f/m/x)

full-time (38.5h) | Location: Vienna, Austria


We are looking for a full-time (38.5h) EU Project Dissemination and Communication Manager to complement our existing team in Vienna to lead the outreach, visibility, and stakeholder engagement activities of some of our EU-funded flagship research projects as well as of EIBIR.


Your Tasks:

  • Develop and implement dissemination and communication strategies and activities of European research projects in the field of biomedical imaging
  • Plan and execute communication and PR activities to promote EIBIR’s visibility within the scientific community (websites, newsletters, press work, social media, etc.) and to effectively share EIBIR’s activities and achievements to key audiences
  • Manage project branding and develop and/or coordinate the production of dissemination materials, videos, infographics, and other (digital) content
  • Organize and support EIBIR’s presence and congresses and outreach events such as workshops, webinars, conferences, and exhibitions
  • Establish and maintain relationships with partners, stakeholders, and media to ensure consistent messaging and visibility
  • Monitor and report on dissemination and communication KPIs and impact metrics


Your Profile:

  • Excellent command of English language (at least C1) - additional EU languages are a plus
  • At least 3 years of experience in science communication, PR, or journalism or as communication and dissemination manager of EU-funded projects, ideally in the health or digital field
  • Strong understanding of digital communication tools and platforms
  • Experience with industry standard design software
  • Experience with wordpress websites (Elementor)
  • Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into accessible content
  • Experience with stakeholder engagement and event coordination
  • Ability to work independently and proactively and to collaborate with professionals from various disciplines
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and challenges
  • Willingness to work in a team
  • Willingness to occasionally travel to project meetings

The monthly gross salary for this job vacancy is at least € 2,900 (14 times per year). Depending on relevant experience and qualifications, a higher salary is possible.
