**Freelance** Network Security Engineer - Brussels
A client of Koda Staff's is urgently looking for a Network Security Engineer to join a long term freelance project. The client requires you on site 3 days per week and 2 days remote.
๐จ Core Expertise:
Network Security: Advanced deployment and management of Cisco ASA, FortiGate, and Checkpoint firewalls, including VPNs, policy tuning, DDoS protection, and network segmentation.
SD-WAN & NAC: Experienced in SD-WAN configuration, performance tuning, and implementing NAC for identity-based access and compliance.
Web & Application Security: Proficient with WAFs (AWS WAF, F5 ASM, Cloudflare), proxy servers, and content filtering to safeguard web applications.
Load Balancing & Routing: Skilled in L4/L7 load balancing (F5, Radware) and advanced routing (BGP, OSPF) for optimal network performance and reliability.
Troubleshooting: Strong analytical abilities in diagnosing complex multi-vendor network issues using packet analysis and diagnostic tools.
๐จ Additional Skills:
Experience with wireless networks, VMware NSX-T, AWS networking, container networking (Kubernetes, Docker), and network automation using Ansible/Python.
