My client is looking for a skilled Java Developer to join their expert engineering team working on large-scale, mission-critical enterprise projects that power some of Finland’s most trusted organizations.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and modern frameworks (Spring Boot, Jakarta EE).
• Collaborate on system architecture and integration across complex platforms and services.
• Implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and data processing pipelines.
• Ensure reliability and performance through code reviews, testing, and optimization.
• Work in close cooperation with DevOps and QA to ensure seamless delivery and scalability.
• Participate in agile development cycles, bringing new ideas and technical insights to the table.

Requirements:

• Several years of professional Java development experience.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and RESTful API development.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and object-oriented principles.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong collaboration skills and a proactive approach to solving complex technical challenges.
• Fluent in English; Finnish language skills are an advantage but not required.

Nice to Have

• Experience in enterprise integrations (SOAP, messaging queues, Kafka).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue) is a plus.
• Background in high-availability systems, security, or performance optimization.
