They are currently looking for a Game Developer to join their passionate development team. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a hybrid work model. Candidates must be proficient in either English or Finnish to integrate effectively with the team.

Role Overview

As a Game Developer, you will be a core part of the production team, responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing game features. You will collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and other programmers to translate creative concepts into tangible, high-performance gameplay mechanics. This role requires a strong understanding of game development principles and a passion for creating fun and polished player experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing, implementing, and iterating on new gameplay features and systems.
• Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, primarily using C# within the Unity engine.
• Identifying and fixing bugs and optimizing game performance for various mobile devices.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver features on schedule.
• Participating actively in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
• Contributing ideas and solutions to improve the game's overall design and technical architecture.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A relevant degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in game development, specifically with mobile titles.
• Strong programming proficiency in C# and deep knowledge of the Unity engine (experience with Unreal Engine is also considered a plus).
• Proven experience in implementing complex gameplay mechanics, UI, and game systems.
• A solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and data structures.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• A portfolio of shipped titles or projects demonstrating your technical skills.
