In this role you will be utilising your problem solving ability and IT related skills to help ensure the smooth operation of this growing organisation.


This is a permanent position where you will take ownership of the entire internal IT environment; as a key hire for this business you will act as the 2IC to the IT Manager with a clearly defined career progression path, to become the new IT Manager in 2-3 years.


This business is in a growth phase with a reputation for a tight knit and collaborative workforce, where your input will be valuable as they expand their offering. Established in 1988 they service clients across all states and territories in Australia


For this role you will be responsible for the following:

  • Deploy, manage and configure various hardware devices
  • Make recommendations for upgrades
  • Evaluate and modify system performance
  • Deploy Virtualization machines and networking technologies
  • Administrator Microsoft, linux and Network services



We are seeking candidates with the following experience:

  • 3-5 years experience in a Systems Administrator role
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or industry related certifications
  • Strong experience working in a Microsoft or Linux environments
  • Strong troubleshooting/Administrative skills with microsoft 365, windows servers & linux
  • Strong experience deploying sever technologies (HP, DELL, SAN or DAS)
  • Any experience with networking troubleshooting, Routers, Switchers, Firewalls, VPN site to site and VoIP
  • Strong experience with database technologies such as SQL and scripting
  • Experience with software development using PHP is highly regarded
