As a Cyber Security Advisor, you will be joining our Customer Success team that looks after our Managed Detection and Response customer portfolio.

You will be responsible of creating and presenting Security Insights for our WithSecure Customers & Partners.

Addition to the 24/7/365 Detection & Response coverage these customers get, Our Managed Detection and Response focus on providing peace-time value for our customers and enhancing their cyber security posture. As a Cyber Security Advisor, you will analyze the collected data from the customer’s IT infrastructure trying to spot areas of improvement to make their organization more secure from cyber attacks.

In this role you will be working side-by-side by our Customer Success Manager & Technical Service Managers, who oversee the overall Customer & Partner Journey. Together you will have active interaction with our customers to ensure that they are getting full value from the service.

Addition to the customer-facing element of the role, you will also work together with internal teams to generate new ideas for Security Insights & advisories. The team works closely with the Detection & Response team as well as with our Threat Intelligence team to understand new emerging threats and how to best advise our customers on prevent those threats materializing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement - Improve our Managed Services customer experience, by engaging customers and facilitating growth. Make recommendations to improve a customer’s preventative controls using technical insights gleaned from findings and investigations generated by DRT.
  • Technical development & presentation in depth of cyber security topics (insights) to a wide technical spectrum of audience on customer side (CISO, IT admin).
  • Internal Collaboration – It is vital to understand and know the different areas of the business so that you can draw on resources and the people you have formed relationships with when necessary. You will also need to proactively provide feedback across departments regarding customer feedback and user experience.
  • Threat intelligence – Create curated content relevant to our Customers and Partners on hot topics in the Cyber security threat landscape (eg. new critical vulnerability, new attack technique or active campaign)
  • WithSecure has a strong entrepreneurial spirit. You will have direct access to the management team with open lines of communication to discuss the role you play in our growing business. What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience in a customer facing role.
  • Previous experience in enterprise IT and security management or architecture.
  • Ability to read & understand basic code (Python, Bash, SQL or similar).
  • Understanding of Cyber Security (e.g. Incident response, MDR and EDR) is seen as an advantage.
  • A fantastic communicator with great interpersonal skills.
  • A friendly, organized, proactive and positive person.
  • A problem-solver with the ability to explain things clearly to customers.
  • Patient and calm under pressure and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluent (written and spoken) in English. German language skills are considered an advantage.

Bonus points

  • Cyber Security Certifications or diploma.
  • System automation and AI implementation experience.
