Job Title: Senior Java Developer
Hourly Rate: €130 per hour
Location: Lucerne (2 days per week on-site)
Job Type: Freelance
Contract Length: 12 months+
Senior Java Developer: Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and modernize complex Java JEE solutions to a new cloud-based environment
- Migrate to new stack based on JEE/Microservices/Kubernetes
- Improve architecture and code quality
- CI/CD, DDD, TDD, Solid and Clean Code
- Collaboration in an extremely agile environment with a high level of self-determination and a self-organized team
Senior Java Developer: Experience and Qualifications Required:
- Fluent German (essential)
- 5+ years' experience as a Java Developer
- Agile enterprise environment and modern development methods
- Strong knowledge of JEE
- Insurance industry experience (nice to have)
- SOA architecture with JEE Websphere, Oracle, MDD
- Experience in Domain Driven Design for Microservices Architecture
