About Your New Employer
- Opportunity to join a multinational funds company as a Senior Java Engineer as a part of their Product Development team.
About Your New Job
- Design, develop, and enhance java-based web applications.
- Design, develop and maintain Oracle database objects including procedures, functions, views and packages.
- Analyse database SQL queries in real time and implement optimisations to improve database performance.
- Monitor, analyse and troubleshoot performance issues on AWS EC2 instances hosting the applications.
- Coordinate with the DevOps team to push the application and infra changes to higher environments.
- Continuously learn, evaluate and implement new technologies to improve system performance and efficiency.
- Work closely with the application support team to ensure timely resolution of critical production issues.
What Skills You Need
- 7+ years’ experience in developing web and backend applications using Java, Jboss or other Java based Web Application servers.
- Strong experience of Oracle database architecture.
- Experience writing Python scripts.
- Strong understanding of SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience with AWS.
