The Operations Analyst supports the smooth, secure, and compliant running of the PIL’s day-to-day activities covering client onboarding, trading operations, suspicious activity and potential market abuse. This role helps to ensure that all operational processes are efficient, accurate, and in full compliance with MiCA, AML/CFT, and internal control standards, helping the firm deliver reliable, transparent, and timely services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in client onboarding processes, coordinating with Compliance for KYC/KYB checks.
- Respond to client operational queries and provide timely issue resolution.
- Monitor and support the full trade lifecycle from order initiation and matching to settlement and reporting.
- Have a compliance first approach with a strong customer service mindset.
- Support with the reconciliation of client asset movements across wallets, bank accounts, and internal ledgers on a daily basis.
- Oversee crypto and fiat transaction processing, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
- Support with the development of operational dashboards and key performance metrics
- Identify and escalate operational issues, or system discrepancies
- Contribute to the automation and optimisation of operational workflows.
- Support testing of new systems, custody integrations, and trading functionalities prior to deployment
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Technology or related discipline.
- 3 years experience in financial operations, trading support, custody, or Fintech/Crypto environments.
- Experience in blockchain monitoring tools or custody management systems is desirable.
- Exposure to regulated financial institutions or CASPs preferred.
