About The Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Software Engineer with deep expertise in input management solutions and a strong background in the financial services sector. In this role, you will take ownership of the technical design and implementation of document capture and processing systems, drive process optimization initiatives, and collaborate closely with established lead developers and business stakeholders. You will play a key role in shaping development strategies, defining project scopes, and contributing hands-on to software development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and integration of input management solutions using Microsoft .NET technologies
• Analyze, optimize, and implement end-to-end document capture and processing workflows
• Collaborate with senior engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to define technical requirements and development priorities
• Evaluate and integrate capture technologies such as IBM OpenText Capture, Kofax Capture, or ABBYY FlexiCapture
• Identify process improvement opportunities and translate them into actionable development tasks
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to development teams
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively across technical and non-technical audiences
• Support agile development practices and contribute to continuous improvement within the engineering organization
  
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in input management or document processing systems
• Proven success in optimizing input processes and implementing efficiency-driven solutions
• At least 5 years of experience in the financial services industry (banking or insurance preferred)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft .NET for software development and integration
• Experience with IBM OpenText Capture (preferred), Kofax Capture, ABBYY FlexiCapture, or similar technologies
• Ability to customize and optimize capture solutions based on organizational needs
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement
• Strong communication skills and ability to conduct training or knowledge-sharing sessions
• Proven experience working in agile environments and collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively with senior technical leadership
• Willingness and readiness to travel as required by project or client needs is expected. This may include occasional domestic or international travel, sometimes on short notice.
