Functional Analyst

Job Title: Functional Analyst Junior – Life Insurance

Location: Luxembourg City, Luxembourg

Languages: French & English (Italian is a plus)

Work Mode: 100% On-site

Start Date: December 1st, 2025

Duration: 6 months (renewable contract)

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Functional Analyst to join our team in Luxembourg. In this role, you will support the operational and administrative management of life insurance contracts within a dynamic environment. You’ll ensure regulatory compliance (KYC/AML/FATCA), maintain data accuracy, and contribute to a high-quality client experience.

This position is ideal for a motivated professional with an initial experience in insurance operations or financial back-office who is eager to develop further within the Luxembourg life insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full life cycle of life insurance contracts, including:
• Subscriptions / onboarding
• Amendments and endorsements
• Redemptions / surrenders
• Switches / arbitrages
• Claims processing
• Verify and update client files in line with KYC/AML/FATCA regulations.
• Maintain accurate data across internal systems and tools.
• Communicate with intermediaries, partners, and clients regarding contract status and operations.
• Ensure processing deadlines are respected and contribute to internal process improvements.
• Participate in document management and internal control activities.

Profile & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Insurance, Economics, or Law.
• Experience:
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in life insurance operations, policy administration, or financial back-office.
• Knowledge of KYC/AML and European insurance regulations.
• IT Skills:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with tools like Solife, Astrid, Rflow, eClub, or AOF is an advantage.
• Languages: Fluent French and English required. Italian is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Team-oriented with a service-minded approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

• Start Date: 1 December 2025
• Duration: 6 months (extendable)
• Work Location: 100% on-site, Luxembourg City
• Remote Work: Not planned at the moment (subject to possible change).
