System Engineer

System Engineer – 6-Month Contract – Luxembourg City

Hamilton Barnes is hiring a System Engineer for a 6-month onsite contract in Luxembourg City. This role will be working with one of the largest financial institutions in Europe. The role focuses on infrastructure projects (80%) and business-as-usual operations (20%) within a large enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain Windows Server environments and Group Policies
• Administer Active Directory, PKI, Bitlocker, Intune, SCCM, DNS, DHCP
• Troubleshoot network and system issues across Windows and Linux platforms
• Collaborate with internal teams and document system configurations
• Support BAU tasks including patching, access rights, and server maintenance

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience in system engineering
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and enterprise security standards
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible) and endpoint management
• Fluent in French and English
• Available to work onsite during onboarding

Contract Details:

• Length – 6 months (possible extension)
