Location: Lisbon – 100% on-site Employment: Full time Level: Senior (open to Mid–Senior depending on experience) ________________________________________ About the role We’re hiring an experienced UX/UI Designer who can take BA produced wireframes and transform them into production ready Figma designs, while building and governing a Design System used across our products. You’ll partner with Product, BA, and Engineering to ship clean, consistent, and accessible interfaces for data heavy B2B web apps. ________________________________________ What you’ll do (Responsibilities)

  • Translate BA wireframes and requirements into high fidelity Figma screens using Auto Layout, constraints, and responsive patterns.
  • Define user flows, IA, and interactions; create clickable prototypes and run quick validation (usability tests, stakeholder reviews).
  • Build and maintain the Design System: foundations (color, type, spacing, grid), design tokens, components, patterns, usage guidelines, and release notes.
  • Establish governance & contribution model for the DS (versioning, naming conventions, review process, changelogs).
  • Partner with frontend engineers to map tokens to code (e.g., Tailwind config), keep Figma components in sync with the codebase (Storybook/Docs).
  • Produce developer ready specs (Figma Dev Mode, component properties, redlines, assets) and support implementation.
  • Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and performance friendly UI patterns.
  • Lead design reviews, advocate for UX quality, and coach teammates on DS usage and UX standards.
  • Monitor product UX health (e.g., heuristics, analytics/behavior tools) and drive iterative improvements. ________________________________________ Must have qualifications
  • 5+ years of UX/UI experience with shipped web products (portfolio required).
  • Figma expert: components & variants, Auto Layout, component properties, variables/tokens, prototyping.
  • Proven track record building/owning an organization level Design System (from foundations to complex components) with clear documentation.
  • Solid UX fundamentals: user flows, IA, interaction design, micro copy, and usability testing.
  • Accessibility knowledge (WCAG 2.1 AA) and responsive layout best practices.
  • Strong communication: can explain design decisions, trade offs, and rationale to non design stakeholders. ________________________________________ Nice to have
  • Experience aligning a Design System with Tailwind CSS (tokens → tailwind.config.js) and documenting components in Storybook/Zeroheight.
  • Familiarity with Vue componentization and front end constraints (no coding required, but helpful).
  • Designing data heavy dashboards and complex B2B workflows.
  • Motion/micro interactions (Figma prototyping, Smart Animate, Lottie) and iconography/illustration basics.
  • Working with analytics/behavior tools (GA4, Hotjar, FullStory) and A/B testing.
  • Multi brand/theming ________________________________________ How you’ll work
  • Collaborate with BA and Product to clarify requirements and success criteria.
  • Run design critiques and DS onboarding sessions for engineers and stakeholders.
  • Document decisions and patterns in a central DS hub; keep examples and usage guidelines current.
  • Partner closely with Engineering to ensure a smooth handover and post release iteration. ________________________________________ Portfolio requirements Please share 2–3 concise case studies showing:
  • The problem context and constraints; your role and collaborators.
  • The journey from wireframe → high fidelity (showing iterations and reasoning).
  • A Design System artifact you created (foundations/components, docs, governance).
  • The outcome/impact (qualitative and/or quantitative). ________________________________________ Tools & stack
  • Figma, FigJam, Tokens Studio (variables), Storybook/Zeroheight (docs), Contrast checkers.
  • Analytics/behavior: GA4, Hotjar/FullStory (or equivalent).
  • Handover: Figma Dev Mode; collaboration with FE (Vue/Tailwind). ________________________________________ Experience & background
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; English proficiency required.
  • Experience collaborating with BA, Product, and Engineering in agile environments. ________________________________________ Conditions
  • Presential work.

  • Collaborative and inclusive working environment. ________________________________________ Hiring process 1. 30 min intro (HR/Recruiter). 2. Portfolio deep dive (UX foundations, DS examples, wireframe → Figma walkthrough). 3. Practical exercise: small DS component + responsive flow from a provided BA wireframe. 4. Final interview (cross functional fit & ways of working). Localização
