The person, a French speaker, must live no more than 50 minutes away from Martigny or Sion and must hold a Swiss passport or a valid permit by the time they begin their on-site assignment
Mission
In collaboration with the existing Lead UX, you will contribute to the redesign of a modern back-office web platform designed to meet user expectations and needs.
You will be responsible for understanding and gathering user requirements, then translating them into high-fidelity interfaces deliverable to development teams.
You ensure consistency in the user journey by validating solutions through testing and monitoring metrics after production release.
You master the entire UX design process, from user research to continuous optimization
Responsibilities
- Conduct interviews and workshops to understand user needs and behaviors.
- Analyze existing user journeys to identify pain points and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with business analysts to gather and clarify business requirements.
- Reconcile user needs, technical constraints, and business objectives
UX/UI Design
- Design intuitive interfaces aligned with the design system and brand identity.
- Create mockups and interactive prototypes using Figma.
- Ensure consistency across screens and user flows.
- Contribute to improving the platform’s front-end ergonomics and quality.
- Apply UX best practices and accessibility standards
Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with product, technical, and business teams.
- Present solutions to business stakeholders.
- Document and justify design decisions with clear reasoning.
- Represent end users in product discussions
Testing and Continuous Improvement
- Ensure the quality of developed deliverables.
- Test solutions with users and share results with stakeholders.
- Monitor user-centered metrics post-launch.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of the user experience.
Education
- Vocational diploma or higher education in design.
- Certification in interface ergonomics and user experience.
Professional Experience
- 3 to 5 years as a UX/UI Designer.
- Experience designing complex interfaces such as back-office software.
- Experience in the insurance sector is a plus
Languages
- French: Native / C2
- English: B2/C1
Technical Skills
- Figma (mockups, interactive prototypes, auto-layout, variables)
- Wireframing and sketching for rapid prototyping
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and understanding of component libraries
- Atlassian Suite: Jira, Confluence
- User testing tools
- Survey and questionnaire design
- Adobe Creative Cloud Suite: a plus
- Google Analytics: a plus
- Familiarity with AI tools for design: Figma with AI plugins, image generators (Adobe Firefly, Midjourney), integration via AI APIs (OpenAI, etc.)
- Awareness of ethical and GDPR issues: data protection, reduction of algorithmic bias
