Specialist Data Analysis (Cluj/Bucuresti)

Key Responsibilities:

• Be the expert who can extract valuable data insights to support initiatives coming from product owners and product development teams.
• Transform requirements from business partners into preliminary data specifications and hand them over to data engineering team. Act as a business knowledge expert in relation with the technical team.
• Collaborate with the relevant stakeholders to define performance KPIs on various dimensions and orchestrate their implementation into available BI tools.
• Orchestrate and deliver the results on complex data analysis topics with support from technical side of the team.
• Orchestrate and deliver dashboards and reports to support the business development with support from the BI team.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify business drivers, proactively recommending actions to enhance customer understanding and optimize campaigns.
• Understand and make use of statistical and machine learning techniques to deliver forecast analysis and model customer behavior. Support development of advanced analytical frameworks in partnership with Data Scientists and Data Engineers.
• Coach and mentor junior analysts, promoting best practices within the team.
• Contribute to data governance and data quality initiatives.
• Support regulatory reporting and compliance through accurate data analysis.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Understanding of banking products, processes, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven experience in data analysis for banking or financial services, preferably for companies portfolio.
• Proven experience in data analysis for risk or finance&controlling areas.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and SQL.
• Python experience is a major plus.
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, R etc.) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate data into business insights.
• Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving mindset.
