Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Senior Project Manager to lead large, complex task orders or a group of task orders impacting the same system. This role supports the Program Manager and collaborates with Government Contracting Officers (KO), Task Order Managers, Government leadership, and customer agency representatives. The Project Manager ensures timely implementation of technical solutions and schedules under the guidance of the Program Manager.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned task order(s).
- Manage all aspects of task order execution, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Coordinate with Government stakeholders and internal teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Monitor project performance and provide regular updates to the Program Manager and Government representatives.
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and organizational standards.
- Lead cross-functional teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
- An active Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent recognized certification.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant project management experience, including five (5) years in leadership roles with increasing responsibility in IT and/or consulting within the public and/or private sector.
- CCP Certification from Google, AWS, OCI, or Microsoft Azure
- IA Level: IAM-III
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong understanding of government contracting and task order management.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Expertise in project planning, budgeting, and performance tracking.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Experience with risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure in government or enterprise settings.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Strong understanding of government contracting and task order management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Active Secret clearance.
