Aurora Engineering AB is seeking an experienced Windchill Java Developer to join our client business team. The focus will be on supporting and enhancing the SIM module in PTC Windchill, ensuring optimized functionality and seamless system performance. You will collaborate closely with a Windchill Architect to analyze supplier-proposed functionalities, fix bugs, optimize configurations, and develop custom enhancements within the Windchill environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Windchill Architect to analyze and evaluate supplier-proposed functionality.
• Fix bugs and optimize existing Windchill customizations to leverage out-of-the-box capabilities.
• Design and develop new customizations and extensions in Windchill as needed.
• Provide technical support and enhancements for the SIM module within aftermarket processes.
• Rapidly understand complex requirements and system dependencies.
• Communicate effectively with technical teams, architects, and business stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience with PTC Windchill, especially in the SIM module.
• Strong Java development skills focused on Windchill customization (not pure app development).
• Ability to analyze complex systems and propose effective solutions.
• Proactive, structured, and hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
