Are you ready to lead an AI transformation that will redefine HR operations and improve employee experience for thousands of people? Dataleaps is looking for a visionary and hands-on AI Product Owner – Agentic HR Operations to work with one of our leading retail clients in the Netherlands.


In this role, you will lead the creation of an intelligent, automated HR workflow ecosystem—reducing manual tasks, increasing employee satisfaction, and eliminating process friction across the organization. You will own the AI products that will transform the HR function into a model of operational excellence.

Role & Responsibilities


Discovery and Strategy

  • Lead the investigation to define the precise problem statement and scope for agentic HR workflows.
  • Analyze existing HR processes (e.g., onboarding, payroll, recruitment) to identify opportunities for automation and AI integration.
  • Define business value and KPIs, and develop a compelling, measurable product roadmap.

RAID Team Leadership

  • Lead a cross-functional Rapid AI Delivery (RAID) team of AI specialists and HR experts.
  • Establish the team’s operating rhythm to ensure alignment, efficiency, and delivery momentum.


End-to-End Product Ownership

  • Own and manage the product backlog, prioritizing features and user stories based on strategic impact.
  • Prototype quickly, shape the MVP, and validate its feasibility with business stakeholders.
  • Manage the transition from prototype to scalable production, leading pilots and integration with enterprise systems.
  • Drive rollout and adoption, monitor post-launch performance, and continuously refine based on feedback.


Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the main liaison between business sponsors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure clear, consistent communication regarding progress, risks, and results.


Who You Are


  • 6–8+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, with a track record of launching at least one AI/ML product end-to-end.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes or systems (e.g., HRIS, ATS, payroll, and onboarding).
  • Experienced leader able to drive delivery teams and foster collaboration.
  • Skilled in defining strategy amid ambiguity and translating business needs into AI solutions.
  • Excellent communicator, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiar with agile methodologies and rapid delivery frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of LLM capabilities, including RAG, fine-tuning, and prompt engineering.
  • Hands-on mindset and enthusiasm for workflow automation and intelligent systems.
