We are looking for up to 3 Network Engineers for a global company in Stockholm.
Start is in ASAP, 6 month's contract to begin with, possibility of extension after that.
We’re looking for a Network Incident & Troubleshooting Engineer who enjoys diving deep into complex network problems and restoring stability fast.
You’ll be part of incident response and operations team, working across switching, routing, and firewalls — ensuring end-to-end service continuity and high network availability.
Your Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of network incidents from detection to resolution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Layer 2 and Layer 3 issues (VLANs, routing, OSPF, BGP, MPLS).
- Perform end-to-end analysis across networks, firewalls, and connected systems to identify root causes.
- Manage, investigate, and escalate incidents related to Palo Alto or Check Point firewalls.
- Work with monitoring tools and logs to proactively detect and prevent service disruptions.
- Collaborate closely with automation, infrastructure, and application teams when incidents cross boundaries.
- Document incidents, findings, and permanent fixes to improve long-term stability.
Your Profile:
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills at Layer 2 and Layer 3.
- Experience operating and diagnosing issues on enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto or Check Point).
- Deep understanding of routing and switching fundamentals (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLANs, STP).
- Comfortable performing packet captures, analyzing traffic flows, and interpreting logs.
- Proactive and analytical mindset — focused on finding the root cause.
- Team player with good communication skills and an ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Fluent in Swedish and English (spoken and written)
Nice to Have:
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Zabbix, Prometheus,Op5,Elasticsearch, etc.).
- Familiarity with Linux networking tools (tcpdump, traceroute, iptables).
- Exposure to automation (Python, Ansible) or scripting for diagnostics.
- Network/security certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE, or CCSA/CCSE.
This is a full-time consultant position through Incluso in Stockholm. Start is ASAP, 6 month's contract to begin with, possibility of extension after that.
