As a Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining network performance and stability across complex enterprise environments. Your focus will be on diagnosing and resolving incidents at both Layer 2 and Layer 3, managing firewalls, and ensuring end-to-end service continuity for business-critical systems.

Your tasks
- Take full ownership of network incidents, from detection to resolution
- Troubleshoot and resolve Layer 2 and Layer 3 issues (VLANs, routing, OSPF, BGP, MPLS)
- Analyse traffic flows and identify root causes across networks and firewalls
- Manage and escalate issues related to Palo Alto or Check Point firewalls
- Work with monitoring tools and logs to proactively detect disruptions
- Collaborate with infrastructure and automation teams on cross-domain incidents
- Document incidents and propose long-term stability improvement
- Strong hands-on experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 network troubleshooting
- Experience managing enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto or Check Point)
- Deep understanding of routing and switching (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLANs, STP)
- Ability to perform packet captures and traffic analysis
- An analytical mindset and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Fluent in Swedish and English
- Familiarity with Zabbix, Prometheus, Op5, Elasticsearch, tcpdump, iptables, traceroute, Python, Ansible, CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE, CCSA, CCSE
