Who we are looking for

We’re looking for an Android Developer to build and evolve high-quality mobile experiences used by millions during the LA2028 Games. You’ll work in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, partnering closely with Product, Design, Backend, and QA to deliver performant, reliable, and accessible apps. You’ll own features end-to-end- from technical design and implementation to testing, release, and monitoring- and help raise engineering standards across the codebase.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong Kotlin skills and commercial Android experience.
• Solid knowledge of Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, ViewModel, and AndroidX Navigation.
• Experience with Retrofit/OkHttp (or similar), Room/Datastore, permissions, and background work.
• Proficient with Git and CI/CD workflows; familiarity with feature flags and release automation.
• Track record of clean, maintainable code with meaningful tests and production monitoring.
• Effective communication and collaboration in cross-functional teams, at least B2+ level of English written and spoken
• Availability to travel abroad – around 20% of the time
  
  

Nice to have:

• Hilt/Koin (DI), Gradle expertise (convention plugins, caching), large-scale modularization.
• Fastlane / GitHub Actions / Bitrise for Android CI/CD (capability we’re actively strengthening).
• Experience in large enterprise apps and/or SDK development.
• Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) / Compose Multiplatform exposure.
• Strong OOP fundamentals; familiarity with Clean Architecture / SOLID.
  
  

Your future role

• Implement features and polished UIs with Jetpack Compose (state, navigation, theming, accessibility)
• Ensure performance, stability, and clean architecture (modularization, SOLID, clear boundaries)
• Integrate with backend APIs (REST/GraphQL); manage data layers (Room/Datastore) and offline behavior
• Write maintainable, testable code; contribute to reviews, RFCs, and technical design docs
• Own quality: unit tests (JUnit/MockK), UI tests (Compose Testing/Espresso), telemetry and crash monitoring
• Collaborate cross-functionally to refine requirements and plan predictable delivery
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines (builds, tests, releases) and developer tooling
• Champion security, privacy, and accessibility best practices for a global audience
