This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. You'll Architect And Develop Transformative Educational Products
- TeachTap: AI-powered platform bringing historical figures to life in a TikTok-like learning experience.
- TeachTales: Personalized storytelling engine that measurably improves student comprehension.
- TimeBack: Learning copilot that integrates with existing apps, providing proactive student coaching.
- Athena: AI-generated video and assessment system delivering quantifiable academic outcomes.
What You Will Be Doing
- Build and Ship Full-Stack Features: Drive user stories from concept to impact—clarify requirements, design scalable solutions, implement backend and frontend code, test rigorously, and deploy to production.
- Resolve Complex Issues: Conduct thorough root cause analysis, implement permanent solutions (not just symptom fixes), and prevent regressions through strategic testing.
- Elevate Code Quality Standards: Scrutinize plans and pull requests to ensure clarity, simplicity, and correctness, preventing technical debt before it accumulates.
- Creating visually perfect interfaces or complex backend systems without clear purpose or user value.
- Implementing specifications without questioning assumptions or understanding the underlying problem.
- Wasting time in excessive meetings discussing roadmaps or chasing stakeholders for information.
- Simply shipping features without accountability for solving actual user problems and business outcomes.
Leverage AI technologies to develop software that solves genuine user problems, delivers rapid value, and maintains long-term technical integrity.
Basic Requirements
- Minimum 4 years building production web applications across frontend and backend stacks (framework-agnostic).
- Demonstrated ownership of complete modules, product features, or teams—not merely contributing isolated components.
- Proven ability to self-direct: unblock progress independently, establish effective work cadence, and navigate ambiguous situations decisively.
- Practical experience integrating generative AI into your development workflow and solutions.
