Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust network solutions to meet organizational needs and objectives.
- Monitor, maintain, and enhance network performance and system integrity regularly.
- Identify and troubleshoot network issues rapidly to minimize system downtime.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to improve network infrastructure.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of network security measures.
- Develop and maintain network documentation and diagrams for reference.
- Configure and maintain network devices, such as routers and switches.
- Implement network upgrades and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Oversee the installation and configuration of network management systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for networks.
- Coordinate with vendors for network hardware procurement and support.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and network backup strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
- Hands-on experience with network management and monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with network security protocols and practices is essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot network issues.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in teams effectively.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
