We’re on the hunt for a talented back end developer to join a close knit team. With exciting projects around every corner, you’ll be creating new tools for world renowned broadcasters, brands, and businesses whilst maintaining reliable services used by thousands of people every day.


The projects

We provide various solutions that simplify managing radio stations for broadcasters, as a result there is a huge variety of projects that you will be working on. This could be from the systems used for day to day management of stations to supporting tools such as the customer facing mobile app builder. The environment

  • Collaborate across all stages: design, development, and implementation of web apps.
  • Develop reliable, efficient, and scalable cloud based solutions.
  • Work in a close knit team following the scrum framework
  • Work with multiple apps in different programming languages (PHP & JavaScript).
  • Technologies we use: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, NGINX, RabbitMQ, Redis and MongoDB.
  • Hybrid working environment, mixture of remote and office staff.


The candidate

  • 2+ Years Commercial Development Experience
  • Experience working with PHP frameworks (We use Symfony)
  • Solid understanding of various storage tech e.g. MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
  • Background working with TDD, CI, and Version Control.
  • Passion for new web technologies, server platforms, and cloud computing.
  • Experience with system administration e.g. Linux, Ansible, Docker, AWS, Kubernetes.
  • An eye for beautiful, pragmatic code that’s simple to understand at a glance.
  • Ability to integrate with experienced developers and adapt quickly.
  • Desire to go beyond, bringing new ideas and approaches to the table.
  • Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

  • Salary range between 30-45k, depending on experience. The ideal candidate can sometimes be outside of this experience range, please apply if you think it could be the case.

The process

  • Initial interview (60 mins, face-to-face or video call) - getting to know each other, discussing your experience, our team, and the role
  • Technical assessment (2-3 hours max) - a practical task you can complete in your own time to demonstrate your approach and abilities
  • Final interview (60 mins) - deep dive into your technical work, team fit, and next steps
